ZNL adds value to NOV by deepening market penetration in Nigeria in the following ways:

• Giving NOV a strong local presence in Nigeria to consolidate local content compliance and expertise in the country.
• Marketing and Business Development.
• Protecting NOV’s business interests in Nigeria e.g. ZNL pushed for NCDMB’s inspection of NOV’s manufacturing plant in Onne, Port Harcourt. We further encouraged NCDMB to inform all IOCs that the plant had been inspected and should be patronized. Subsequently NOV won a ~ $7 million Chevron contract processed through that plant. This job was a direct result of ZNL’s business development efforts on NOV’s behalf with Chevron and NCDMB. Prior to this, the plant had received no patronage for 3 years.
• ZNL continues to tender for opportunities to the benefit of both NOV and ZNL e.g. current renewable Shell and Esso contracts for crane maintenance. In these instances, ZNL provides local technicians while NOV provides expatriates.
• ZNL has also provided debt recovery services for some of the NOV business units
